Boot-disk application that makes it easy to access your computer's Windows
password settings. If you're locked out of your computer, ESR will give you
access and let you troubleshoot problems that are preventing you from
running Windows. With it, it's simple to reset and change the passwords of
any of these local accounts, look up account privileges, detect accounts
with empty passwords, and assign Administrator privileges to any user
account. It's easy to enable or unlock accounts that have been disabled
or locked. Active Directory accounts (Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server
2003, Windows Server 2008) are also supported (in Professional
version), so even domain administrator's password can be changed.

A password security test tool that's designed to
allow Windows Vista, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and
Windows NT-based systems administrators to identify
and close security holes in their networks. Proactive
Password Auditor helps secure networks
by executing an audit of account passwords, and
exposing insecure account passwords. If it is
possible to recover the password within a reasonable
time, the password is considered insecure.
The software supports a few different methods of
obtaining password hashes for further attack/audit:
from dump files (generated by 3rd party tools like
pwdump), Registry of local computer, binary Registry
files (SAM and SYSTEM), memory of local computer, and
memory of remote computers (Domain Controllers),
including ones running Active Directory. It can use
brute-force and dictionary attacks on LM and NTLM
password hashes, effectively optimized for speed.

and easy to use program to assist system administrators and ordinary
users to keep their computers secure by identifying what security updates
are installed on local and remote machines, and allowing to download and

A program to recover all types of Windows passwords: logon password (when user is logged on and has Admin privileges), screensaver password, .NET Passport password, SYSKEY startup password, passwords in cached credentials, RAS and dial-up passwords, passwords to shared resources etc. The program also shows all users and groups (with their properties), allows to run any programs in other user's context, show password histrory hashes, read password hashes from SAM and SYSTEM files, reveal passwords hidden under the asterisks, enable disabled controls, and run brute-force and dictionary attacks on PWL files (Windows 9x). Finally, it shows product ID and CD key for Windows and Microsoft Office installations. Registered version costs US $60 (personal license) or US $120 (business license).

Advanced Registry Tracer (ART) is an utility designed for analysing the changes made to Windows Registry - by making the "snapshots" of it and keeping them in the browsable database. You can compare any two snapshots and get the list of keys/data which are new, deleted or just changed. Moreover, you can create undo/redo files (for example, to rollback the changes). Very useful for detecting trojan viruses and elimination some problems caused by software and hardware install/uninstall. Unlike Registry monitoring software (such as RegMon and Win-Expose Registry), and most uninstallers (CleenSweep, Uninstall, etc.), ART compares full copies of the Registry made at different times, while the software mantioned above just monitors all accesses to the Registry in real time. So, our method allows to track all the changes, and doesn't affect the system performance. Registered version costs $40.
